Where We Operate

Our People

Inbound Consultants
All consultants have a minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience in the Travel and Tourism industry and understand market specific requirements. Discover Africa consultants conduct regular Educationals with all consultants to ensure they have first-hand experience on accommodation standards, tours and activity experiences.
Operational Staff
Operational staffwork rotating shift to ensure there is 24/7 support for all guests during their tour in South Africa. This ensures any last minute changes are possible and guests will be communicated with regularly. Our operational team is equipped to deal with all aspects of service delivery in an efficient and professional manner.
Managers
Managers are trained in leadership and human relations and attend regular meetings and refresher management courses. Managers work rotating shifts to ensure operations run smoothly 24/7.
Drivers & Guides
The tour guides at Discover Africa Travel are integral members of the local community, extensively trained in the key points of interest and hotels within their respective areas. This not only ensures their familiarity with optimal routes but also allows them to impart valuable insights into the city and culture to our clients. Discover Africa Travel's Chauffeurs and Tour Guides possess a minimum of a Code 8 license and a PDP (Public Driver’s Permit), along with accreditation as CATHSSETA-accredited Tour Guides. Before joining our team, they undergo a mandatory seven-day induction course
